The installation of all underground services required 73.000 lineal meters of wire for the electric network and 63.000 lineal meters of pipes for the gas, water, telephone and cable networks, and it demanded the excavation of 30 km. of ditches between 31 and 70 inches of depth. These networks have been installed following institutional rules for underground distribution.
As soon as the underground electric cable network was connected, the old aerial network was withdrawn. This network consists of 5 state of the art power distribution sets, custom made for Chapelco Golf & Resort by Schneider Electric Argentina. These sets constitute a considerable breakthrough for Chapelco Golf & Resort owners, considering that they allow the installation of digital electric meters in every unit, the centralization of all consumption related data and also allow for the efficient isolation and repair of specific areas, in the unlikely event of a power problem.
Once the installation of the 200.000 lt. tank in the higher part of the Loma Atravesada is over, construction of the fresh water supply network will be over.
The maintenance building was built within a pine forest concealed from the lots and the golf course. It houses all maintenance equipment plus the irrigation system's computer.
Work on the construction of the main access road to the Club House and the Hotel is still in progress. Asphalt paving is scheduled to begin as soon as temperature and weather conditions allow it. Perimeter fences are scheduled to be completed by July or August and work on the landscaping of the Resort's entrance will immediately follow.
